What To Expect During Your Appointment

The first step of the implant process is to understand your requirements. Our team at Kai Dental will address any general queries you have regarding the treatment.

After our dentist conducts a thorough, oral assessment, they will methodically explain the procedure. An x-ray will be taken of your mouth to determine its viability for the process.

At the next appointment, the titanium post is surgically placed in your jaw under a local anaesthetic. If your treatment requires multiple posts, they can be fitted in the same appointment. The gum is given time to heal while the screw and bone integration takes place.

After a few months, an appointment will be scheduled to take an impression of your mouth. The customised prosthetic tooth created from this impression is then anchored onto the post.

The advantages of opting for dental implants:

The implants bond with the jawbone, making them strong. With good oral hygiene, dental implants offer you a long-term solution to missing teeth.

Dental implants are versatile, as they can be used to secure a single tooth, multiple teeth (through a bridge) or even an entire set of teeth.

They closely match the feel, function, and look of your teeth, giving you a natural appearance and bite.

Implant retained dentures are a type of overdentures anchored onto dental implant surgical posts. The implants provide additional support to the overdentures.
